PSN Down for Some, Sony Says It’s “Intermittently Available” (Update)

Update:

Sony has refreshed their PSN Status page to confirm that the PlayStation Network is back online.

Original Story:

With errors first popping up when the highly anticipated Minecraft: PS4 Edition became available on the PlayStation Store, Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Network is experiencing issues right now, with “high volume” the main culprit, and people reporting error code NW-31201-7 – “could not connect to the network.”

Officially posting on their website that the PSN is “intermittently available,” here’s what Sony had to say:

The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing high volume and users may experience issues when connecting to the service. We will update you with any changes that may occur in regards to this issue. Thank you for your patience.

When the PSN is back to normal, we’ll let you know, but if you happen to notice it’s working for you, please let everyone know in the comments below.
