Update:
The October 2014 PlayStation Plus free games for North America and Europe have been revealed.
Original Story:
With DriveClub’s launch a few weeks away on October 7 in North America and October 8 in Europe, quite a bit of information about the game and its PlayStation Plus Edition has been given recently, including how the install is 17GB and the PS+ Edition isn’t eligible for pre-loading.
Over the weekend, Fred Dutton of the EU PlayStation Blog revealed another interesting piece of info, saying, “DriveClub will be in addition to your regular PS Plus allocation.” This means that, in addition to the PS+ Edition of DriveClub, there will still be two PlayStation 4 games, two PlayStation 3 games, and two PlayStation Vita games in the October 2014 Instant Game Collection.
As well, Dutton said that there’s “no plans at present” to bring the 64GB PlayStation Vita memory cards to Europe, and we should “look out for more news on [PS4 firmware update] 2.0 soon.”
If PlayStation sticks with their regular timing, the October 2014 PlayStation Plus free games list will be revealed on October 1 or October 2.
