Gamer Shot and Killed After Failed PS4 Robbery Attempt

Danny Zeitz, a 28-year old gamer living in Georgia, was shot and killed on Friday by a 16-year old girl as she and her boyfriend were trying to steal Zeitz’s PlayStation 4 console.

Danny, known to his online buddies as Phobos, had arranged to sell the console to the couple on Craigslist. But when he met them in their car in an apartment parking lot, the girl’s boyfriend, Nathan Vivian, tried to grab the console out of Zeitz’s hand and bring it into the car.

Zeitz resisted, and the 16-year old girl, whose name has not been released, shot through Vivian’s hand and into Zeitz’s chest, killing him. Meanwhile, the girl’s baby was sitting in the backseat of the car, only a few feet away from the brutal murder.

Since the murder, some of Zeitz’s gamer friends have started a GoFundMe page to cover his funeral costs. The page already has over $17,000 in donations, and that number can only go up. On top of that, K.L. Smith, one of Zeitz’s gamer friends, also made a touching YouTube video in order to garner support for the GoFundMe page.
