The follow-up to Senran Kagura Burst, XSEED announced today that Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus will release for the PlayStation Vita on October 14 in North America (retail for $49.99 and digital for $39.99) and October 15 in Europe (digital). With the retail version in North America, a limited Let’s Get Physical Edition will be available at launch, including a 144-page art + strategy guide, and a 39-track musical selections disc, with everything housed in a shiny foil collector’s box.
If you couldn’t tell from the trailer, Shinovi Versus is a beat-em-up, and it features four different shinobi squads for a total of 26 shinobi, each with their own fighting styles and specials. As well, you’ll be able to experience each girls’ side-story through their individual arcade modes.
Shinovi Versus also includes 4-player battle royale modes, where you can go against 3 of your friends or strangers, or do a 2v2 match.
Over on the EU PS Blog, it was confirmed that XSEED stuck with the authentic Japanese voice actors for in-game dialogue, with the text localized in English.
