Provided everything goes according to plan, you may be able to play Minecraft: PS Vita Edition very soon, as developer 4J Studios announced that it has entered final testing with Sony:

It is worth noting, however, that Minecraft: PS4 Edition failed testing its first go around on August 20, but was able to re-submitted and approved within two weeks, ultimately releasing on September 4 (and we all know how that went).
Once 4J Studios and Sony announce a release date for Minecraft: PS Vita Edition, we’ll let you know. And when it does release, don’t forget that anyone who owns Minecraft: PS3 Edition will be able to download it for free.
As well, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition will be fully compatible with PlayStation TV at launch.
Will you be getting Minecraft: PS Vita Edition as soon as it’s available?
