DriveClub Features Superior Handling Model, Says Evolution Studios

In an interview with VentureBeat, Paul Rustchynsky of Evolution Studios talked about DriveClub‘s superior handling model, and some of the customizations players can make to their cars.

When asked why players should buy DriveClub over the numerous other racing games coming out, including Project CARS and The Crew, Rutchynsky noted that DriveClub has a superior handling model.

What makes a really good driving game is the handling model, and Driveclub excels at this. There are other things that make a great game, but there’s nothing to stick around for if the handling model isn’t great. We have really nailed it.

Rutchynsky also mentioned that DriveClub will allow for some basic car customizations, such as being able to change the paint and some of the designs. There will be no tuning options for the numerous playable cars, however, as Rutchynsky noted that Evolution Studios wanted to give everyone an even playing field.

DriveClub will be out on October 7 for the PlayStation 4. Will you be picking up a copy, or will you be getting one of the other racing games coming out around that time?
