In a since removed update, Konami confirmed on a Japanese version of its website that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 will run at 1080p on the PlayStation 4 and 720p on the Xbox One, and both will run at 60fps.
The update was on Konami’s website for some time before it was replaced with a message to “stay tuned” for more information. Whether or not this means that the original information was untrue is not yet clear.
Besides listing the PS4 and Xbox One specs, Konami also noted that the PS3 version would run at 720p and 60fps. No specs were listed for the Xbox 360 version, however. In comparison, EA’s soccer title FIFA 15 runs at 1080p and 60fps on both the PS4 and the Xbox One.
PES 15 is set to come out on November 11 on the PS4 and PS3, as well as other consoles. A playable demo of the soccer game was released last week.
Why do you think Konami deleted the original post? Do you think the specs will be changed?
