NBA 2K15′s face-scanning technology apparently can be less than flattering to those who try to put their faces into the game, as the system has been creating some pretty horrifying monsters.
The technology uses connected cameras, such as the PlayStation 4’s PS Camera, to snap a photo of a user’s face and import it into the game. That person’s face is then supposed to be used to create a basketball player. While it sounds like a great idea, the face-scanning system doesn’t seem to be quite there yet, and it has been creating some truly disturbing players.
