Those who pre-order Resident Evil Revelations 2 for the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be eligible to receive an extra bonus mode for free. This news was announced by the game’s producer, Michiteru Okabe, in a panel at New York Comic Con.
Called the Raid Mode Throwback Pack, the bonus features stages from previous, but more recent, Resident Evil titles that will be playable in Raid mode. The game will be available for pre-order on the PS4 starting October 14, and on the PS3 sometime later this month. We’ve previously been told that Revelations 2 will launch as a weekly episodic download, on the completion of which we’ll get a retail release.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will launch for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2015.
