Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PS2 Classic Pulled From PlayStation Store, Re-Release Possible

With the 10th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas just a few days away October 26, it appears a re-release could be happening.

First off, Xbox Achievements posted the full list of achievements for the game on Xbox 360, which suggests that a newer version of the game will be released shortly. Although there haven’t been any trophy listings for GTA: San Andreas yet, it would make sense that it appears on PlayStation 3 the same day.

Secondly, the Xbox Classics version of San Andreas is no longer available for purchase, while the PS2 Classics version disappeared from the European PlayStation Store. In North America, San Andreas is still up for sale at $3.99.

We’ll have to wait for official confirmation from Rockstar Games to know if this re-release is indeed real, so stay tuned for more news as it arrives.

Would you buy a trophy-enabled San Andreas for PlayStation 3?
