A brand new game in the Table Top Racing universe that will expand on “everything that was great about our first game,” developer Playrise Digital revealed Table Top Racing: World Tour is coming to the PlayStation 4 as a timed-exclusive in Q4 2015.
Throwing in new cars, tracks, shortcuts, power-ups, and secrets, CEO Nick Burcombe couldn’t talk much about World Tour as development recently started, but he did say, “Multiplayer is going to be at the core of TTR:WT, with dedicated four-player split-screen, as well as network play, available.”
One of the minds behind WipEout, Burcombe talked to Eurogamer about World Tour, revealing that the PS4 is the lead development platform. “With a long history of hit games for PlayStation over the decades,” he said, “we feel that the PlayStation platform is our spiritual home and to make a return to console development, as an indie developer, feels like a dream come true.”
