SingStar Gets Delayed in North America Due to “Unforeseen Error”

It has been confirmed that the singing title SingStar has been delayed for PlayStation 4 and PS3 users in North America, with no official release date announced.

The game was originally supposed to be released on October 28, but Sony’s Jenny Barbour commented on the official PlayStation Blog that the game is experiencing some issues, and will be delayed until an unannounced time.

The new digital version of SingStar for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 systems has been temporarily delayed in the US (as well as Canada, Mexico and Brazil). We encountered an unforeseen error that effects how the new song catalogs are displayed, however we expect it to be resolved shortly and plan to release SingStar on both platforms very soon.

The musical title allows players to sing a large amount of songs with their friends using either a microphone or their mobile phones. Are you disappointed by the delay? Were you planning on picking up a copy of SingStar?
