Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming title Far Cry 4 has gone gold. Executive Producer Dan Hay said that he was “proud of both the quality and the sheer volume” of the game.
In order to mark the occasion, Ubisoft is offering last-minute pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order now from Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy or Wal Mart, you’ll receive access to the Yak Farm mission and an upgrade to the Limited Edition, which includes the Hurk’s Redemption missions. Those who have already pre-ordered the game will automatically receive these bonuses.
In other news, the PlayStation Silver Wired Stereo Headset is rolling out to retailers now. The device features 7.1 virtual surround sound, custom audio modes and a retractable boom mic all for $69.99 (MSRP). Sony also announced that custom audio modes for the headset are on the way, including a Far Cry 4 mode.
A Far Cry 4 custom audio mode is on the way for the Silver headset, as well as the Gold and PULSE Elite Wireless headsets via the free Headset Companion App. Additionally, custom audio modes for inFAMOUS Second Son, Watch_Dogs, Destiny and The Last of Us are all on the way for the Silver headset.
Certainly feels like fall season now!
