Guerrilla Games has announced that its PlayStation 4 launch title, Killzone Shadow Fall, has passed the three million unique players mark. Announcing the news on Twitter, the developer thanked its fans for all the love. Game Director Steven ter Heide also took to Twitter to express his delight. “We have broken through the 3m unique players mark with #killzone shadowfall! Thanks for your support everyone!” he said.
Guerrilla Games continues to add updates to the title nearly a year after its launch. Update 1.70 has recently gone live, which addressed a number of bugs in the game alongside adding some improvements. Additionally, players are due to receive a free map to mark the Killzone franchise’s 10th anniversary.
