Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Zombies Content Isn’t Exclusive to the Season Pass, Activision Confirms

Earlier this week, a press release went out from GameStop, suggesting that Zombies would be a part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass:

Breaking News for Call of Duty Fans – Zombies are Back!

This just in, Zombies are back as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass! Stop by any GameStop to pick up one of the most anticipated games to launch this year, along with 4-multiplayer map packs, Atlas Gorge, and yes – ZOMBIES. All this is available for purchase today GameStop as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass for only $49.99.

At the time, this implied only those who bought the Season Pass would have access to the Zombies content, but as Activision’s Kyle Walker explained to Tech News World, “The Season Pass is just another offer to get all DLC at a discounted rate. Season Pass is not the only way to get Zombies.”

If you’ve played the Exo Survival Co-Op Mode all the way through, you’ll have noticed there a bit of a Zombies tease (see below). Walker also addressed this by saying:

Zombies in AW is an Easter Egg for the fans. It was just a fun surprise the Sledgehammer team created for fans once they wrapped the main game. It’s their own new take and new style on Zombies.

More details on Zombies will arrive in the coming weeks.

What do you hope to see from Zombies in Advanced Warfare?
