Following “lots of certification issues,” Devolver Digital has finally announced that Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition will be released on January 13 in North America and January 14 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. No price or cross-buy information was given, but the Steam version is listed at $9.99.
If you live in Europe and happened to find the Megaton Edition in the PlayStation Store today, Devolver Digital says it’s a mistake and to contact Ask PlayStation for more details:
@75julian75 It was mistakenly launched briefly. This was an issue with @PlayStationEU, do you not have access to the game after purchasing?

They later added, “If you grabbed Duke Nukem 3D when it was accidentally made available early on PSN by PlayStation it’s fine. Just be cool :P.”
Here’s the 2013 launch trailer for the Megaton Edition on PC:
According to Devolver, “Almost 400,000 people have purchased DN3D on PC since [Duke Nukem Forever] was released.”
Will you be buying the Megaton Edition when it launches early next year?
