Aside from even more dominance for the Nintendo 3DS, it was a week of weak of new releases in Japan, with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel the highest debut, placing in 7th and selling 12,400 copies. A little further down the chart, Metro Redux on PlayStation 4 sold 6,100 copies, while Sunset Overdrive on Xbox One started its run with 3,500 sold.
Over in hardware, the 3DS XL was #1 by a wide margin, with the PlayStation Vita in 3rd with 10,700 sold. The PS4 and PS3 were pretty much flat compared to the previous week, and the PlayStation Vita TV managed to hold off the Xbox One yet again.
