The first “next-gen” Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Unity , is almost upon us. Having previously explored settings like the Italian Renaissance and the Ottoman era among others, we’re now being transported back to Paris during the time of the French Revolution.

Ubisoft’s Creative Director, Alex Amancio, has said Assassin’s Creed Unity is the beginning of a new cycle for the franchise, offering a new narrative and a chance for new players to jump in.
Meet Arno Dorian

Arno's Story

New Control Scheme

Four-Player Co-Op & Collector's Edition Confirmed
Prepare for story-driven four-player online co-op missions. Players will be able to join up to three friends to play together, using skills and unique gear acquired during the campaign.

Yes, It's Got Heists

But don't worry, Ubisoft has assured us that the game won't be compromised . Players will be able to stock up on in-game resources by buying them instead of earning them.
Paris is Your Playground

No French Accents
Ubisoft opted for British accents as opposed to French. "The idea is that the Animus is translating everything into the language you’re playing in," the developer explained. Don't worry, though, you can always play the French version with English subtitles!
Season Pass Includes a 2.5D Game
That's right! Assassin's Creed Unity's season pass will include Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China and at least eight hours of new gameplay. The pass will cost $29.99.
Why the Delay?
Assassin's Creed Unity's release was delayed by two weeks . Ubisoft said that it needed extra time to address the game's economy system and mission difficulty among other "kinks."
The Specs
Ubisoft caused a bit of a stir when it said that both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will run at 900p and 30 frames-per-second (fps) to avoid debates. Later, the developer said the specs aren't final , leading many to hope that PS4 players will get a post-launch patch to bump 'em up.

The Mysterious "Time Anomaly" Trailer
