Lords of the Fallen is Already Profitable After Shipping 700,000 Copies

Released at the end of October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Lords of the Fallen (check out our review) has already become profitable for CI Games.

Executive Producer Tomasz Gop revealed to Eurogamer that Lords of the Fallen sold 200,000 copies since launch, while 700,000 copies were shipped to retailers. With the game’s budget at 42m Polish zloty (about £7.8m/$12.3 million US), CI Games only needed to ship 500,000 to recoup development costs.

As we learned yesterday, a new piece of DLC is coming to the game later this year, and as Eurogamer revealed, you can expect the expansion to add about 2.5 hours of gameplay.
