Uncharted Movie Adds Oscar-Winning Screenwriter, Chris Pratt Passes on Lead Role

The last news we heard about the long-awaited Uncharted movie is that filming was to begin in early 2015 with Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) as director, then the full movie would release on June 10, 2016.

Now, The Hollywood Reported confirmed that Oscar-winning screenwriter Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) has joined production to do a three-week production polish on the latest version of the movie written by David Guggenheim (Safe House). According to THR, the Uncharted movie is “being envisioned as a swashbuckling adventure in the vein of Indiana Jones.”

While Mark Wahlberg was previously attached to star as Nathan Drake, he moved on. Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Parks and Recreation) was then offered the role more recently, but he passed.

Now that Mark Wahlberg and Chris Pratt are out, who (other than Nathan Fillion or Nolan North) would you like to see play Nathan Drake?
