Despite the launch of many big titles last week, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was able to hold first place on the chart, beating the second place Assassin’s Creed Unity by 16,000 sales. If you combine the launches of Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue though, they defeated Advanced Warfare.
As for Unity, it outsold the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 debut of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag last year. Looking at the console breakdown for Unity, 52% was on PS4, 46% on Xbox One, and 2% on PC.
Elsewhere, Minecraft: PS Vita Edition helped Minecraft: PlayStation Edition sales rise 79%. On its own, the Vita version out-performed the game’s PS3 and PS4 debuts. Additionally, it is the third biggest debut ever for a PS Vita game, behind Uncharted: Golden Abyss and FIFA Football.
