After the recent PlayStation Network maintenance, it appears as if a new feature was added to the PS Store. When looking at their carts, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita owners now have the option to put in a discount code, apparently allowing them to save them money on their purchases.
Although it seems like something PlayStation users probably should been able to do a while ago, this feature is completely new to the store. Like many other online stores already allow for, it appears as if the PS Store will give potential buyers to opportunity to input coupons or promotional savings codes so they may buy games for discounted prices.
While it is not yet certain how often codes and coupons will be handed out, the fact that the feature is being added right before the holiday season seems somewhat promising. What do you think of this feature? Do you think coupons will be given out frequently?
