During the 2014 UBS Global Technology Conference, Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen mentioned that the 2016 Battlefield game, which was officially announced a month ago, would bring the series back to its militaristic roots.
That will be a return to a Battlefield military-style game; more to come on that.
While that was essentially the extent of his comments on 2016’s Battlefield title, at least fans now know that the series will not continue with the cops and robbers theme that the next game, Battlefield Hardline, will be pursuing. Hardline is scheduled to come out on March 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
