Japanese Sales Chart: Advanced Warfare Leads the New Release Charge

The software chart was taken over by new releases last week, with 12 of the top 20 best-selling games all debuting during the sales period.

Overall, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PlayStation 3 topped the chart with 80,000 sold, with Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 on PS3 close behind in second. Advanced Warfare also fared well on PS4 and finished 3rd overall, while the Xbox One version placed in 19th.

Over in hardware, the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 both saw a boost and finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. Unfortunately, no doubt thanks to Call of Duty and The Master Chief Collection, the Xbox One handily defeated the PlayStation Vita TV.
