In just a few short moments, the first-ever The Game Awards will air in place of the VGA’s. While this is the time when game developers and studios take center stage, more than a handful of people watch these events for the game reveals and nothing else.
For tonight’s show, it’s been confirmed that more than 12 game reveals will take place, though don’t expect every title to be of the AAA variety. Possibly one of the big reveals will come from EA, who’s making a “special announcement” on the show. One publisher you can expect NOT to make any announcement is Bethesda, who confirmed that it won’t show anything at the event.
Additionally, expect new trailers for games that have been revealed, and hopefully, a few megatons join the fray. Finally, you can also read up on the list of categories and nominees as well.
PlayStation LifeStyle will be covering the event, so make sure to check back regularly for the latest news, trailers and updates as they happen.
