Adding another LEGO title to Sony’s handheld when it launches in Spring 2015, Warner Bros and TT Games announced today, International Ninja Day, that LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is coming to the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS.
Ronin, a new threat in Ninjago, steals the Ninjas’ memories using an ancient weapon called the Obsidian Glaive. With the Ninjas forgetting how to use their elemental powers, you have to help them find their Obsidian weapons, regain their memories, and get their powers back before Ronin completes his plan.
In Shadow of Ronin, you’ll visit locations from the TV series, including the Ice Temple, the Toxic Bogs, a mysterious new island, and the village of Spinjago, where the Ninjas are training with Grand Sensei Dareth and Sensei Wu. Using their Spinjitzu abilities, you’ll be able to unleash the Ninja’s elemental powers to fight enemies and solve puzzles, and you can team up and create multi-elemental builds using the Tornado of Creation.
TT Games Managing Director Tom Stone talked about the game:
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin will be the most expansive adventure game through the Ninjago universe that we have ever made to-date. Kids will get a kick out of playing as their favorite Ninja warriors battling a new enemy with an exciting array of cool vehicles, mechs, and even dragons!
So far, LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is the only LEGO game set for release in 2015, though a LEGO Jurassic World was teased in LEGO Batman 3.
