Holidays are a time for family, joy, fun, and (hopefully) a break from the day to day. That doesn’t mean we still can’t get in a little bit of time for gaming. We asked the staff what their holiday gaming plans are this year.
Alex Co (@Excaliburps)
Unfortunately, my holiday “gaming” time will be spent plotting out the content we’re aiming to do for PSLS for 2015. I might try to sneak in some Dragon Age: Inquisition or Advanced Warfare multiplayer matches here and there, but for the most part, it’s all going to be about spending time with my family and doing a little bit of work.
Cameron Teague (@Cameron_PSLS)
PVZ, Suikoden II, Samurai Warriors 4, and LBP3.
Chandler Wood (@FinchStrife)
Destiny will probably have some time, with my secondary characters helping D’yani to get to a Raid worthy level. After that, I may try to actually make some kind of a dent in my backlog, but lets be honest, with everything else, and having to find time to watch The Interview too, it will probably only be Destiny, if I even do that.
D’yani Wood (@Dyani)
Destiny with Chandler when he makes me, otherwise I’m going to be a plant defending the great Crazy Dave from a hoard of zombies. I feel like there is something else that I want to play too, but I can’t think of it right now… Perhaps Shadow of Mordor or diving into something else in my backlog.
Dan Oravasaari (@FoolsJoker)
I will be spending Christmas, and Christmas eve with family. But, after all of the festivities, I will probably hop on Destiny to finish off my weekly strikes or get together with our raid group to take Crota down again.
Mack Ashworth (@GamingWithMack)
As I’ve been a very good boy this year, I’ll likely be playing a freshly Santa-delivered copy of GTA V.
Mark Labbe (@MarkyMark255)
I think I’ll be playing some Just Dance 2015 with my girlfriend, since it the only game she will actually play. I might continue my adventure in Assassin’s Creed Unity as well. Other than that, I hope to be spending a lot of time with my family doing fun non-gaming related things!
Paulmichael Contreras (@T3mpr1x)
I am finally getting a replacement Vita for the one that I lost back in April. So I will no doubt be playing some of my back catalog of Vita games, unless Cameron throws me some obscure RPG to review! Beyond that, Minecraft is always calling, as we have three worlds to maintain (two of which are always-on, on a dedicated server I set up). I might try to complete Towerfall on Hardcore mode on my PS4, but I may not want that kind of punishment over the holidays.
Ryan (@Decimalator)
I’m going to be blackmailing my wife into playing some Destiny with me. During some downtime I will be playing with my new PS TV and testing some Unity prototypes on it.
Zarmena Khan (@Zarmena)
I’m going to be grieving. Earlier this week, my Far Cry 4 (PS4) save file got corrupted out of nowhere, and after numerous attempts to fix it, I had to give up. I lost a month’s worth of side-mission progress and at least 90% campaign completion. This is the first time something like this has happened to me but since I have little time to play, losing this progress wasn’t fun at all. Needless to say, I’ll be backing my save data up religiously now so I’ll be looking into that over the holidays! 🙁
