Rockstar has announced that it’s extending the Christmas Day inventory gifts for Grand Theft Auto Online in wake of the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live outages over the holiday. The developer wrote on Twitter:
Due to issues with PSN & XBL connectivity, we’re extending the GTA Online Festive Surprise Christmas Day inventory gifts for the time being,
Rockstar has not mentioned how long the extension is for, so we’re assuming that they’re going to be doling out the gifts until further notice, or at least until the networks are fully functional again. The items will automatically appear in players’ inventories when they log into GTA Online.
