PlayStation TV Gets Unofficial Price Cut Across Several US Retailers

Several retailers in the US including Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop, have cut down the price of PlayStation TV. The base package is being sold for $80 (RRP $100), while the controller and game bundle is going for $100 (RRP $140).

None of the aforementioned listings give the impression that the price cuts are a part of any sale, making people wonder if this is the new price point or limited time offers. However, a Sony company representative has told GameSpot that “these price drops are indeed retailer specific,” and are not part of an official price drop.
