Making some changes to their release schedule for Resident Evil Revelations 2, Capcom has decided to delay launch by one week “in an effort to fine-tune the final product.”
Here’s when you can now expect each episode and the complete retail version on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 (Xbox and PC versions launch the same day as Europe):
- Episode 1 – February 24 (NA), February 25 (EU)
- Episode 2 – March 3 (NA), March 4 (EU)
- Episode 3 – March 10 (NA), March 11 (EU)
- Episode 4 – March 17 (NA), March 18 (EU)
- Complete Retail Box Set – March 17 (NA), March 20 (EU)
Each episode is priced at £4.99/€5.99/$5.99 on their own, with the Complete Season costing £19.99/€24.99/$24.99 on the PlayStation Store, and the retail version at $39.99:
Single Episodes
- Contain a Claire/Moira scenario, a Barry/Natalia scenario, and Raid Mode content based on that Episode.
Complete Season
- All four main episodes
- Two additional spin-off episodes that focus on telling the side stories of each of the two new Resident Evil characters: Moira Burton and Natalia Korda
- Additional Raid mode character: Hunk
Retail Version
- All four main episodes
- Two additional spin-off episodes that focus on telling the side stories of each of the two new Resident Evil characters: Moira Burton and Natalia Korda
- Additional Raid mode character: Hunk
- Additional Raid mode character: Albert Wesker
- Four alternative costumes (one for each of the main characters: Claire, Moira, Barry and Natalia)
- Raid mode Throwback Stage Pack featuring four stages from recent Resident Evil titles
There was no word on a firm release date for Resident Evil Revelations 2 on PlayStation Vita, which is being developed and published by Sony.
