First Ever 20th Anniversary PS4 is Up for Auction, Proceeds Going to Charity

The first ever 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 console ever manufactured is up for auction in Japan, with the proceeds set to go to Save the Children.

Sony is officially selling the console through Yahoo auctions, and according to Kotaku, the company will match the amount of funds raised. Unfortunately, the console will not be shipped overseas so fans in the US and Europe will have to opt for eBay auctions, if interested. Bidding ends tomorrow i.e. Sunday, so those out there in Japan with some spare cash lying around might want to place their bids now!

In related news, Sony is giving away one of the 20th anniversary PS4 consoles via a contest. Those who are at least 18 years of age and are based in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the U.K. can enter.
