Dragon Age Inquisition Wins 2014 Game of the Year at the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards

The winners in the 18th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards at the 2015 D.I.C.E. Summit were revealed last night, with the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences giving Dragon Age Inquisition the honor as 2014 Game of the Year.

Nominated for nine total awards, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor only failed to capture the title of Game of the Year. Destiny, meanwhile, took home four awards, including Action Game of the Year.

  • Fighting Game of the Year – Super Smash Bros for Wii U
  • Racing Game of the Year – Mario Kart 8
  • Sports Game of the Year – FIFA 15
  • Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year – Hearthstone
  • Mobile Game of the Year – Hearthstone
  • Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction – Monument Valley
  • Handheld Game of the Year – Super Smash Bros for 3DS
