A rhythm-puzzle title, Jungle Rumble: Freedom, Happiness and Bananas is launching today in North America for the PlayStation Vita (no word on a European launch tomorrow).
Released last year on mobile devices, the PS Vita version of Jungle Rumble adds a new tutorial, more levels, and more music.
As you can see at the end of the trailer, you use the Vita’s touch screen to tap along to the beat of the jungle, drumming on monkeys, trees, coconuts, and enemies. “Unlike a traditional rhythm game,” Trevor Stricker of Disco Pixel says, “there is no script to follow – in Jungle Rumble drumming controls the game.”
In terms of features, you can expect “an epic main story that will keep gamers playing for hours, as well as numerous side quests.”
Do you plan on picking up Jungle Rumble today?
