With today Friday the 13th and tomorrow Valentine’s Day, Supermassive Games brought out a new trailer for Until Dawn, titled Roses are (Blood) Red.
If you’re unfamiliar with Until Dawn, it stars a group of eight friends on their annual mountain getaway. At the start of the game before everything goes wrong, you’ll meet the characters as they couple off around the house, which the trailer gives you a brief look at.
Highlighting the relationship between Ashley and Chris, Executive Producer Pete Samuels talked about how it isn’t pre-defined, with your choices deciding whether or not they stay together.
He continued:
Choice is a central tenet of Until Dawn. Your actions not only determine who lives or dies, but will also directly influence the relationships between the characters (romantic or otherwise). You will even influence how characters react to each other. If you are mean to a friend, they may or may not choose to save you later in the game. The narrative will always continue forward, adapting to your decisions throughout the game – meaning that your game will be noticeably different from anyone else’s.

Until Dawn launches later this year on PlayStation 4.
