Publisher Bandai Namco has announced that Ridge Racer Unbounded servers have been shut down in Europe. The multiplayer mode is now inaccessible via the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Over on its official website, the company said in a statement:
The publisher and developer wanted to take this opportunity to thank, once again, all the players for their support of Ridge Racer Unbounded throughout the years.
From now on, Solo mode ‘’Dominate SHATTER BAY’ and the track editor ‘Create MY CITIES’, minus the online sharing options will remain fully playable.
In related news, the PlayStation website has also confirmed that online support for PlayStation 3’s EyePet will be discontinued as of March 27.
