Not long ago, Contrast developer Compulsion Games teased its next project that we were told involves “masks, drugs, and memory loss.” With PAX East 2015 right around the corner, Compulsion has revealed that the game is titled “We Happy Few,” and it’ll be demoed next week. You can watch the game’s intriguing announcement trailer above.
According to an official description of the game:
We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial. Set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England, you’ll have to blend in with its other inhabitants, who don’t take kindly to people who don’t abide by their not-so-normal rules.
The developer has not shared a release window for We Happy Few yet, and we’re not told which platforms it will be coming to either.
What do you think of the trailer?
