Apparently, Asia is getting an awesome, special edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 console that is modeled after Snake’s colors in the upcoming game. If this doesn’t make you wish you lived somewhere in Asia, I’m not sure what will.
According to the official press release that was sent out by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, the red on the console represents Snake’s red, bionic left arm, while the controller represents “Snake’s right-hand gun, which is embellished with Snake’s unit logo.”
While this special edition console is only available in Asian countries, there is a Collector’s Edition of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that will be launching in the US when the game releases on September 1 that contains an actual replica of Snake’s bionic arm, so that might be worth checking out.
