Capcom has revealed a “tentative” release window of Spring 2016 for Street Fighter V amid reports of the game releasing next Spring. This information was initially outed by a Capcom Unity blog post regarding PAX East merchandise. The post states:
Everyone is fired up for Street Fighter V coming to the PS4 and PC. Until then, you can sport the official SFV key art T-shirt, which features Ryu in a heroic pose, for $25.
An Amazon listing for Street Fighter V gives a release date of March 31, 2016 but it’s highly likely that this is just a placeholder.
Capcom said late last year that the game’s development was only 20 percent complete so this release window doesn’t come as a surprise. We’ll update our readers when a set date is revealed. In the meanwhile, you can watch the latest gameplay video featuring Nash here.
