While last month’s story trailer for Mortal Kombat X introduced new fighters Jacqueline Briggs, Takashi Takeda, and Kung Jin, today’s new video is all about the Cage family.
Alongside their daughter, Cassie Cage, Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage have been confirmed as playable fighters in Mortal Kombat X, with their moves and some fatalities shown off in the video (the best one is at 1:10).
Elsewhere, IGN was able to reveal characters they fought against in a recent demo, as well as ones who popped up during cinematics:
- Jax (Fought against)
- Shinnock (Fought against)
- Smoke
- Nightwolf
- Kenshi (playable in MKX mobile)
- Fujin
- Stryker
- Kabal
None of these eight characters are confirmed as Mortal Kombat X fighters at the moment, so we’ll just have to wait for more details from NetherRealm about the roster over the next few weeks.
Mortal Kombat X launches for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on April 14.
