Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack Includes Jason Voorhees as a Playable Fighter, New Character Skins

To celebrate Friday the 13th today, Warner Bros and NetherRealm have confirmed that Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th movies will be added as a paid DLC character to Mortal Kombat X.

Titled the Kombat Pack, MKX’s season pass will cost $29.99/£24.99 and includes four in development playable characters. We already know about Jason Voorhees, while the other three include two “Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants” and another special guest character.

Starting on launch day, April 14, anyone who buys the Kombat Pack will receive the Samurai Pack containing three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack with each playable character. Additionally, Kombat Pack owners receive early access to future DLC.

If you don’t want to buy the Kombat Pack on its own, various special editions of Mortal Kombat X include it.

Mortal Kombat X launches for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on April 14.
