With Battlefield Hardline releasing in a few days, we here at PlayStation LifeStyle wanted to take a stab at creating the ultimate (hence, the video series title) Battlefield game.
For obvious reasons, we’re looking at the game’s multiplayer component rather than single-player. While a handful of gamers might buy a Battlefield game for its campaign, we know the majority of you lot do so for its bread and butter multiplayer.

Battlefield Hardline Everything to Know
Resolution Will Be at 900p on PS4, 720p on Xbox One
As expected, the PS4 version of Hardline will slightly look better on the PS4 than the Xbox One. It was previously reported and announced that it would run at 1080p resolution and 60 frames-per-second on PS4. While the frame-rate remains the same for both versions, the resolution has been downgraded. And you can read why below.

Battlefield Hardline Premium Confirmed, and Here are the Details
Yep, Hardline will follow past Battlefield games and will have a Premium membership.
Contents are as follows:
Four Super Features
Masks – New player masks with unique gameplay benefits tied to the theme of each mask. Gun Bench – Provides players with the ability to visually customize their weapons and track their kills per weapon. Competitive Play – Support for competitive play through Battlefield Hardline Premium-access only tournaments and ladders. Legendary Status – Provides replayability of the entire progression system. Four Expansion Packs Featuring New Multiplayer Maps, Modes, Vehicles, In-Game Content & a Story Themed Throughout
Criminal Activity – Players have to make a name for themselves in fast-paced, highly-destructible new maps littered with small-time crime jobs. Available summer 2015. Robbery – Take down the opposition head on and progress through key locations with major cinematic action. Available summer 2015. Getaway – This is frantic, high-speed chases that immerse players deeper in the heist. Available fall 2015. Single-Player Will Have 10 Episodes
According to Visceral, there are 10 episodes in total for Hardline's single-player campaign, and some will last "less than an hour, some more." Linked below are details on that, as well as from a recent Twitter Q&A.

Hardline Was Inflluenced by Real-Life Events
Controversial police-related events helped shape Hardline according to Senior Producer Scott Probst.
Yes, it’s had an effect, and I think a positive one, because it’s brought up a lot of key issues that we need to discuss as a team to make sure that we’re addressing.
I think it’s a very important topic and something we should be aware of. And we should make sure that we’re not in any way exploiting that or making it a negative experience for players. A lot of these unfortunate events have actually helped provide feedback to us about things that we should or should not be doing. And that’s helped craft a lot of our experience.

Visceral Explains Why Headshots aren't Always One-Hit Kills in Hardline
While in normal multiplayer shooters, a headshot would normally equate to a “one-hit kill,” meaning that one hit would down the enemy and force them to be revived or respawn. This wasn’t the case with Hardline and now we know why..and Visceral cites it as "balance."
