If you were hoping the game might appear on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, the EA Star Wars Twitter account has confirmed that Star Wars Battlefront will only be releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this Holiday.

With Star Wars Battlefront scheduled to release in Holiday 2015, EA has announced that the game will be taking part in Star Wars Celebration next month in Anaheim, California from April 16 – 19.
“We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it,” the company said.
It’s also possible we might be hearing about the other Star Wars games in development, as EA added, “We have a lot of exciting news to share with you about all the EA Star Wars games we are working on in partnership with Lucasfilm, so make sure you subscribe, follow and Like to get all of the latest and greatest info.”
If the gameplay footage shown at Star Wars Celebration is anything like the footage shown at a private GameStop event, expect it to be good.
