Grand Theft Auto V Graphics Downgrade on PS4, Xbox One After Recent Update Being Investigated by Rockstar

A couple weeks after Rockstar released patch 1.08 for Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Spanish YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits posted a video comparing how the game looked in 1.08 vs 1.00, revealing some graphical downgrades.

Here’s just one of their comparisons:

In a statement provided on their Support website, Rockstar addressed these graphical quality issues on PS4 and Xbox One:

We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now.

If you want email updates on this issue, Rockstar says to click Subscribe on this page after logging in.

Yesterday also brought us patch 1.09 on PS4/Xbox One and patch 1.23 on PS3/360. While it didn’t fix the graphical quality issue, it did include a whole bunch of fixes for Grand Theft Auto Online.

Did you notice any changes in the visuals when you installed update 1.08 on PS4 earlier this month?
