Following the rumored fallout between Metal Gear producer Hideo Kojima and Konami, Lords of the Fallen developer Deck13 Interactive has extended Kojima a brand new job offer. The company sent out an official tweet, informing him that it has an open position for Head of Game Design in case he’s currently searching for a job.
Kojima is supposedly leaving Konami later this year, but both parties have issued joint statements, reassuring fans that Kojima will continue to work on Metal Gear products. It’s unclear what led to this in the first place.
I think we all called it. In our recent Now Loading… piece, PSLS’ staff were of the view that Kojima would be an asset to any company he works for. And look, the headhunting has begun!
