NetherRealm Studios shared new information about its upcoming title, Mortal Kombat X, during the latest Kombat Kast. The developer has confirmed that the previously revealed Wild West Gunslinger, Erron Black, will be a playable character in the game, who you can watch in action above. The character was first spotted in the title’s companion comic book (issue #4).
We’re also told that although Goro will come as a pre-order bonus, those who didn’t pre-order the game can still pick up the fighter later down the line via paid DLC.
Interestingly, players may find Mortal Kombat X slightly more accommodating that its predecessors. NetherRealm Community Specialist, Tyler Lansdown, has confirmed that the game will include “maybe three” easy fatalities day one for those who find them hard to pull off. He also said that more can be unlocked during some parts in the game.
Last but not least, members of WB Play customer rewards service will have access to an exclusive Raiden skin on launch day. Not long to go now!
Mortal Kombat X will release on April 14 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will release during summer.
