Graveyard of the Darkbeast
If you found yourself killed by some dark spellcasters in Yharnam, you’ll find yourself awakened in a strange jail cell. Assuming you survive in the surrounding area, you can escape through a hole in the wall. Head down a path to the left of the hole to continue. Be careful though, as this triggers a boss battle. The Darkbeast Paarl is an unfortunate name, because this creature commands electricity. Obviously, an electric weapon will not work here, so get some other type of weapon like a torch, cleaver or fire paper ready before starting this battle. Also really handy is the Beast Blood Pellet, which you can pick up from an enemy on rare occasion. Use it to enhance all of your abilities to stand the best chance of survival. A key tactic is to roll back away from the Darkbeast’s swipes, then roll into and under him. Hit at his chest, and he will slump down into the ground, which is your chance to unleash hell. Unlike Father Gascoigne, the Darkbeast does not transform when at a lower health level, so just keep dodging, healing, and using the occasional Beast Blood Pellet to ensure your victory.
