Mortal Kombat X Day One Update Out Now, is 1.8GB on PS4

Thanks to some early copies already in the hands of consumers, it’s been revealed that the day one update for Mortal Kombat X on PlayStation 4 (and likely Xbox One as well) is about 1.8GB in size.

While Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios have yet to officially detail the update on their forums, here’s the patch notes included in the PS4’s Update History, as posted by God is a Geek:

  • Improved online stability
  • Multiplayer invite improvements
  • Gameplay fixes and balancing
  • Localized language fixes
  • Bug fixes

On Reddit, one user says the Tower Boss became more difficult after the update, and the payouts in story mode and normal fights were reduced.

Mortal Kombat X officially launches for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 14, with a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version to follow in the Summer. You can check out the launch trailer over here.
