With publishing duties being handled by Sony, they’ve announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 on PlayStation Vita has been delayed from Spring 2015 to Summer 2015.
In some new details revealed today, it was confirmed that Frima Studio (Chariot) is handling the PS Vita port of Resident Evil Revelations 2, with a release date announcement coming “soon” as they are getting closer to locking down the PS Vita-specific gameplay and features. So far, we know gyroscopic targeting will be included.
Available as a digital-only release, RER2 will contain all four episodes, as well as any DLC released so far, excluding consumables. While single player Raid Mode will be included at launch, online co-op Raid Mode and the ad-hoc modes “will most likely come post-launch via an update. This is so we can get the full game into your hands that much sooner.”
No price was given yet for the game on PS Vita.
What do you think of the delay?
