Update (April 17):
As spotted by ThisGenGaming, both of the listings for Easy Fatality Packs have been removed from the PlayStation Store.
No word on whether this is permanent or temporary:
Original Story:
If you use up all the easy-fatality tokens given to you at the beginning – and don’t want to earn more through regular gameplay – Mortal Kombat X offers you the chance to spend real money on Easy Fatality Packs through the PlayStation Store.
Available at $0.99 for 5 Easy Fatalities and $4.99 for 30 Easy Fatalities, the description says, “Finish Him! Purchase a pack of Easy Fatalities giving you access to Fatalities with simplified inputs.”
In terms of other DLC, you can spend $19.99 to unlock everything in the Krypt, while $1.99 gets you to the Blue Steel Sub-Zero costume.
Additionally, there’s the Kombat Pass, which costs $29.99 and includes early access to four upcoming fighters, including Jason Voorhees and Predator, as well as some skin packs.
Mortal Kombat X is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions due this Summer.
What do you think of Mortal Kombat X’s micro-transactions? Have you bought the game yet today?
