The other day, I was saying to myself, “You know what the Vita needs? More ports.”
Clearly, it’s the one flaw in its library: not enough ports and cross-platform games. It especially needs ports of games that offered a second screen to work with. I’m talking about ports from older systems that barely improve the graphics. Pure, un-enhanced ports. Those are the best ports.
Well bless my lucky stars! The Vita is about to get one such port! Shiren the Wanderer 5, a mysterious dungeon RPG (see also: “Roguelike”) formerly on the Nintendo DS, is making its way onto the Vita under the title of Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus. Here are a few screenshots:

The Japanese release date is June 4, while stateside and Euro dates haven’t been revealed.
